Look inside this fun and colorful print/digital book. Created in InDesign with specific instructions on how to layout this production, I learning to be more creative in book layout and think outside the structured environment of college textbooks I am so familiar with. Textbooks leave a designer with little room for creativity and this piece was a nice compliment to my many years of book layout products. InDesign has many aspects, and my graphic design program has educated me on interactivity of digital artifacts. 

The 2x2 Noah's Friends is my pride and joy. My first publication in this series of children's books is Pandi and Boo. Created in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, this colorful creation is full of learning moments for children. Included in this sample are a few pages of the book that show off my skills in creating cartoon animals and backgrounds. This is the second children's book I have created and have discovered a passion for teaching prayer to children through graphic design. 

The Atlantic, Iowa Chamber of Commerce Visitor and Community Guide is full of images, ads, and history. I designed this magazine for three years and spent many hours working with business to create their ads to reflect the company missions. The interior design was done in InDesign and the ads were created in Illustrator. 

I have been a member and catechist at the Catholic Church for many years and often volunteer my graphic design services to churches from the surrounding area. I enjoy learning the history of the different churches and documenting that history. I have created books, flyers, prayer cards, and websites, but this publication was one of my favorites. This book documents the history and restoration of my local parish and will be enjoyed by many for many years to come. 

The complexity of electronic engineering is mirrored in this publication. This book was one of a series of technical books with numerous tables, computer code, and complex math. It was sold to colleges to teach electronic engineer students new micro-controllers. I designed the interior of the book using InDesign and the graphics were created in Illustrator. I did the design and composition of eight different titles.
